7.46 acres of land has been purchased by AWHO at Village
Cheruvakkal, Thiruvananthapuram for AWHO's housing project.
The land is located near Aakulam Lake. College of Engineering
Trivandrum is loc approx 2.5 km away.
Planning has commenced.

ELIGIBILITY: Retired/Serving Army Personnel, their
widows in receipt of family pension and also parents
of unmarried fatal battle casualty who are in receipt
of family pension (if applied within two years of demise
of their son/daughter) can apply on plain paper as per
prescribed format along with Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/-
in favour of “MD AWHO” payable at New Delhi
as commitment money provided they are not owning any
DUs/Plots allotted by AWHO or existing allottees/registrants
of any other regular scheme (Spot/Annual Registration)
of AWHO. However, one can apply for more than one project
under demand survey.

Note:
1.
Applicants will be given preference for allotment as
per the seniority list of demand survey. Seniority will
be fixed based on the date of demand draft of commitment
money.
2.
If the project does not take off in two years, commitment
money will be refunded with interest as per AWHO rules.
3.
If an applicant withdraws before the announcement of
scheme no interest will be paid to him/her but the commitment
money will be refunded without interest.
