SPECIAL
DEVELOPMENT ZONE
|
| NOIDA
MASTER PLAN 2021 |
With
a view to provide further impetus to realisation
of revenue, the Noida Authority has initiated a
number of fresh plans.
Setting up a Special Development Zone (SDZ)
forms an important part of Noida's Master Plan
2021. |
Planned
to come up alongside the recently commissioned express
highway from Noida, the SDZ is to be equipped with
some of the most modern technical facilities. Broadly
this would be divided into three segments, one each
for an information technology, bio-technology and
a medical super-speciality zone.
For the IT zone itself, an area of 300 acres has
been earmarked with a similar landscape reserved
for medical institutions-cum-super-speciality hospitals.
The biotech zone gets a slice of 150 acres similarly.
Industrialists investing in these zones would for
the first time have the privilege of raising integrated
residential housing complexes here.
At least three sectors encompassing another landscape
of 300 acres will be classified as hi-tech residential
areas. |
The
hi-tech city woiuld be surrounded by a 40
metre wide green belt.
Sectors 94 and 124 similarly would be developed
over another 200 acres of land. These would integrate
Consumer, Electronic, Computer Hardware as well
as Software, Telecom, Bio-mdedical instrumentation,
call centre and robotic projects. |
RITES
is likely to be approached for getting plans for
Noida Metro rail link and Noida Railway networking
in place soon.
Two separate sites, one each to accomodate the waste
poducts from the city's residential and industrial
units, are also being earmarked under the plan.
As of now, the rates for plots under the master
plan are likelty to be fixed between Rs. 2100 to
Rs. 3300 per sq metre, depending upon the value
of these plots. |
