City
Centre christened as Noida's CENTRAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT,
the ambitious project will cost a stupendous Rs.
5000 crores.
Spread over 300 acres across sectors 25A and 32,
the centre shall be flanked by Sector 25 in the
North, Sector 21 in the East, Sector 24 in the West
and Sector 31 in the South.
Slated to become the commercial destination of the
National Capital Region (NCR), the centre will provide
the right mix of retail and office space, explained
the CEO. |
The
CITY centre will have big offices of Trade
and Commerce, Cultural Centres, Service Industries,
Five Star Hotels, International Standard Restaurants,
Whole sale Outlets, Multiplexes, a center for Socio-Cultural
activities, Government /
semi-government ofices, Public facilites , Residential
blocks as residence cum work centres. |
The
infrastructure provided by the Noida administration
will have four main parts:-
* A Business Centre
* A Commercial Centre
* A Crafts Centre and
* A Cultural Centre
It will have a shopping centre comprising 10 lakh
square meters, covering 25% of the total area.
A huge parking lot for vehicles is also on the anvil.
The centre will also house Noida Authority's new
office complex. |
Abundant
water will be available from a pumping station while
a 132 KV power station and six substations of 33
KV each will provide enough power to the city centre,
, which will become the hub of activities in Noida.
It is expected that a work force of about 75,000
people will be employed in the centre.
Wide roads, green belts, pedestrian paths and water
points will crisscross the building blocks. |
The
height of buildings will be restricted to 30 meters
from the ground level.
The area will also have a number of small flyovers
to take care of the huge volume of traffic that,
will be generated. |
