Application Format for Demand Survey

 
Submission of Application & Eligibility:- Retired/Serving Army Personnel & their widows and also parents of unmarried fatal battle casualty (if applied within two years of demise of their son/daughter) who are in receipt of family pension can apply on plain paper as per prescribed format along with Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- in favour of "MD AWHO" payable at New Delhi as commitment money provided they are not owning any DUs/Plots allotted by AWHO.
Owners/allottees (even those who have disposed off their earlier property allotted by AWHO) of any other regular scheme (Spot/Annual Registration) of AWHO are not eligible to apply.
Existing waitlisted registrants of Spot/Annual Schemes and registrants of demand surveys (not owners/allottees of any project) may apply even for more than one scheme. In such cases, one should forward applications with demand drafts separately for each station.

Land has been acquired at Bathinda (JJAY), Coimbatore & Jabalpur. Further, all out efforts are being made to acquire land in rest of the stations/towns.

Seniority will be fixed on first come first serve basis and will count from the date of demand draft of commitment money.

NOTES :

(a) If the projects do not take off within three years, the commitment money will be refunded without any deduction and no interest will be paid.

(b) In case of premature withdrawal by an applicant i.e., before the announcement of scheme or before a period of 3 years the commitment money will be returned after deduction of 2% handling charges and no interest will be paid.

(c) Those desirous of applying for more than one station should forward application and demand draft for Rs.10,000/- separately for each station. However, final allotments will get governed as per rules of AWHO.
