BANGALORE YELAHANKA PART 'A' & 'B'
ANNUAL REGISTRATION IS OPEN.

AWHO has acquired 50 acres of land in (Part-'A') BANGALORE at YELAHANKA near village Billamaranahalli in addition to the 11 acres land (Part - 'B') at Yelahanka. Both the sites are in close proximity of each other.
 

LATEST UPDATE AS ON 29 JUL 2008

Number of DUs initially planned in Part 'A' (50 acres plot) has reduced due to the road which has been planned by the State Government passing through it. The short fall of DUs in Part 'A' is being adjusted in Part 'B' (11 acres plot). Plans have been sanctioned by the local authorities in respect of Part-'B' and tenders have been issued. The work in Part 'B' is expected to start by end Sep 08.

The site at Part 'A' now consists of two portions located on either side of the road which is passing almost through the middle of the site. The portion on the North side of the road measuring about 24 acres has been declared as 'Residential' in the Outline Development Plan (ODP) published by the Government, whereas the portion of site falling on the South of the road has not been declared as 'Residential' in the ODP though the same has already been got converted to 'Residential' from the appropriate authorities by AWHO. The housing scheme cannot be submitted to the sanctioning authorities for this portion of the site till the time ODP is amended. This has to be done by the Government of Karnataka.

The matter has been taken up by AWHO as well as AG even with the office of the Governor to resolve the matter.
In the meantime, portion of the site on the North of the road has been planned and drawings have been submitted for the approval of Bangalore International Airport Area Planning Authority (BIAAPA) under whose jurisdiction the site falls. The portion of site on South of the road has also been planned and the drawings will be submitted to BIAAPA only when the site is declared residential and ODP is amended.

IMPORTANT NOTE
During the process of planning and scrutiny of plans by BIAAPA, the above mentioned plans have undergone considarable changes in terms of configuration of accommodation, garages and Super Area. Due to the increase of Super Area and the recent hike in the price of steel and cement, cost of DUs is likely to be increased substantiolly. Fresh option would be asked from the allottees after the complete scheme is sanctioned by the authorities and the tender action is completed.

* As per para 32 of Master Brochure waitlisted registrants of Bangalore will be given preference whenever any future project will be announced at station.
AWHO has acquired land at Kanamangala Whitefield also.
Amenities: Community Centre, Swimming Pool and Tennis Court will be constructed.

ELIGIBILITY:

Retired/Serving Army Personnel & their widows who are in receipt of family pension and also Parents of Fatal Battle Casualties who are in receipt of family pension (within 02 yrs from the date of demise of their child) are eligible to apply. Owners/ Allottees/ Registrants (even those who have disposed off their earlier property allotted by AWHO) and existing registrants of Spot/Annual/Demand Survey for regular schemes are not eligible to apply.

Existing registrants of Demand Surveys other than Demand Survey for SFA/Hostel Type Accommodation have to withdraw first if they wish to apply.

(a) Priority will be given to persons already registered and demand survey registrants.
(b) Applicants may give a second choice. Allotment will be made as per availability and seniority based on date of demand draft.
(c) Cost indicated are inclusive of cost of land. Cost/Size/Area may change due to escalation, technical or architectural reasons/norms.
