Notice
1. it has been decided
at the Executive Committee Meeting of AWHO
that in view of the clause / terms of land
allotting authority, ie. Mussoori Dehradun
Development Authority, the land acquired by
AWHO in Dehradun will be utilized only for
regular projects of AWHO and Jai Jawan Awas
Yojna.
2. Efforts are on to acquire more land at
Dehradun suitable for construction of SFA
/ Hostel type accommodation for allottees
elgible for allotment of SFA / Hostel type
accommodation.

1. AWHO announces opening of registration of dwelling units for serving JCOs
and other Ranks (OR) under JAI JAWAN AWAS YOJNA at Dehradun.
2. Location: Located at Sheeshambada
on Dehradun Chakrata Road approximately 8 Km from Indian
Military Academy.

4. Eligibility: The scheme is open only
for serving JCOs and Other Ranks (OR) provided they
are not in possession of any other DU from the AWHO
or are not allottees/registrants in any other AWHO schemes.
Also applicant, spouse and dependent children should
not be owning plot/dwelling unit in Dehradun allotted
by any Govt Agency.
5. Probable Date of Completion (PDC):
Mid 2012.
Note :-
1. If oversubscribed during the period
of spot scheme, the seniority will be fixed by a random
computerized draw. Scheme will get converted into Annual
Registration Scheme on first come first serve basis
with effect from 15 Sep 2009 and seniority will be fixed
based on the date of demand draft.
2. Cost given above is inclusive of cost of land. Cost/size/configuration/area
given above are tentative and may change due to technical / architectural reasons/norms
and escalation.
3. JCOs/OR who wish to apply in this scheme should apply on the Application
Form available in the AWHO Master Brochure which can be obtained by sending
a Demand Draft of Rs 100/- (To receive by Regd Post) or Rs 60/- (To receive
by Ordinary post) in favour of MD AWHO payable at New Delhi or collect in person
from any Project office or HQ AWHO on cash payment of Rs 50/-. Form can also
be downloaded from website www.awhosena.org in which case applicants will have
to remit Rs 100/- for AWHO Master brochure, which will be despatched by Regd
post.
4. Resale will be permitted only after three years from the date of offer of
possession of the dwelling unit. Resale will be allowed only to serving JCOs/OR
and to no other category.
