CHANGE OF RULE Retired/Serving Army Personnel & their widows who are in receipt of family pension and also Parents of Fatal Battle Casualties who are in receipt of family pension (within 02 yrs from the date of demise of their child) are eligible to apply. Owners/ Allottees/ Registrants (even those who have disposed off their earlier property allotted by AWHO) and existing registrants of Spot/Annual/Demand Survey for regular schemes are not eligible to apply. Existing registrants of Demand Surveys other than Demand Survey for SFA/Hostel Type Accommodation have to withdraw first if they wish to apply for any regular scheme (Spot/ Annual Registration). However, one can apply for SFA/Hostel Type Accommodation under demand survey even for second DU. In such cases, one should send Application and Demand Draft separately for each station. Application to be sent on plain paper duly filled as per prescribed format along with Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- in favour of "MD AWHO" payable at New Delhi as commitment money.
